Emily de Vialar
Emily de Vialar was a French nun and the foundress of the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph of the Apparition. Born in 1797, she dedicated her life to helping the poor, sick, and marginalized, especially in Algeria and France. Her order spread rapidly, engaging in educational, medical, and missionary work. Emily was canonized in 1951 by Pope Pius XII.
