Saint Bertha of Blangy

After her husband’s death, she dedicated her life to God and founded the monastery with help from Bishop Saint Omer. Renowned for her piety, charity, and leadership, she guided the community and brought her daughters into religious life. Saint Bertha is venerated for her example of holiness and devotion to monastic discipline. Her relics were the object of local pilgrimage for centuries.
