Saint Edana of Ireland
Saint Edna was an early Irish nun and abbess, venerated for her holiness and devotion to Christian life. Little is known about her life, but she is recognized as a woman of deep faith and charity. According to tradition, she lived in the 6th or 7th century and dedicated herself to prayer and service. Saint Edna is honored as a model of sanctity and humility. In the local tradition, she is regarded as a protector of women and those in religious life.
