Saint Marina
Saint Marina is a revered virgin martyr of the early Christian Church, often identified with Saint Margaret of Antioch in Western tradition. She was known for her piety and courage during persecutions under Roman rule. Marina was imprisoned, tortured, and ultimately beheaded for refusing to renounce her faith. Her story inspired many Christians, especially women, in times of trial. Saint Marina is honored for her steadfastness and faith in the face of adversity.
