Saint Armel, abbot of Brittany

Saint Armel, abbot of Brittany, was a 6th-century Welsh-born monk who became a missionary to Brittany in France. Known for his miracles and dedication to the faith, he founded several churches and a monastery. Tradition attributes to him the defeat of a dragon and many acts of charity.
