Saint Genesius, martyr of Rome

Saint Genesius of Rome was a Roman actor who is venerated as a martyr. According to tradition, he converted to Christianity during a performance before the emperor. Upon declaring his faith, he was arrested and executed. Details of his life are limited, with much of his story stemming from later Christian accounts.
