Orontius of Lecce
Saint Orontius of Lecce was the first bishop and patron saint of Lecce, Italy. He is traditionally believed to have been converted to Christianity by Saint Paul. Orontius endured persecution for his faith and suffered martyrdom under Emperor Nero in the 1st century. His cult is especially strong in the Apulia region of Italy, where many miracles are attributed to him.
