Sts. Felix, priest and Adautto, Martyrs on the via Ostiense
Sts. Felix and Adautto were martyred in Rome during the reign of Emperor Diocletian around 303 AD. Felix was a priest who was arrested and condemned to death for his Christian faith. Adautto, a fellow Christian, willingly joined Felix in his execution. They were both beheaded on the via Ostiense. The two saints are venerated for their courage and steadfast commitment to their beliefs in the face of persecution. They are patron saints of those facing trial or persecution for their faith.
