Saint Ida of Herzfeld
Saint Ida of Herzfeld was a noblewoman of Westphalia in modern Germany, born around 770 and renowned for her deep faith and acts of charity. After her husband's death, she dedicated herself to charitable works, building churches, and helping the poor. She was regarded as a mother figure to her people and is considered the first female saint of Westphalia. Ida is honored for her piety and generosity, and many miracles were attributed to her intercession after her death.
