St. Audomar of Thérouanne
St. Audomar of Thérouanne, also known as St. Omer, was a 7th-century bishop of Thérouanne in northern France. He was born around 637 and died on September 9, 670. As bishop, he is credited with converting many people to Christianity and establishing several churches in the region. St. Audomar is venerated for his piety, humility, and dedication to his pastoral duties. He is the patron saint of the city of Saint-Omer, France, and is invoked for protection against eye diseases.
