Our Lady of Aranzazu
Our Lady of Aranzazu is a Marian title venerated especially in the Basque Country, Spain. According to tradition, the Virgin Mary appeared in the 15th century at the site of Aranzazu and her image was discovered in a thorn bush by a shepherd. Her sanctuary became a major site of pilgrimage, symbolizing hope and protection for the region. She is particularly invoked for peace and regional identity among Basque Catholics.
