Saint Thomas, bishop of Villanova
Saint Thomas, bishop of Villanova, was a Spanish Augustinian friar and bishop, renowned for his charity and dedication to the poor. Born in 1488, he became Archbishop of Valencia and was known as the 'Almsgiver' for his tireless works of mercy. Thomas reformed his diocese, promoted education, and distributed his episcopal income to the needy. He died in 1555 and was canonized in 1658.
