Zachary

Saint Zachary is known as the father of Saint John the Baptist and the husband of Saint Elizabeth. He was a priest of the order of Abijah and served at the Temple of Jerusalem. An angel appeared to him, announcing the birth of his son in his old age. When he doubted the message, he was rendered mute until the birth of John. He is venerated as a prophet and righteous man in the Catholic Church.
