Saint Francis, Borgia
Saint Francis, Borgia was a Spanish nobleman, Jesuit, and the third Superior General of the Society of Jesus. Born in 1510, he served at the court of Emperor Charles V before renouncing worldly honors to enter religious life. He was renowned for his humility, deep faith, and promotion of education. Saint Francis, Borgia died in 1572 and is venerated as a model of conversion and holiness.
