Saint Bertille
Saint Bertille was a French abbess of the 7th century, known for her piety and leadership. Born in Soissons, she became a nun at Jouarre before being appointed the first abbess of Chelles Abbey near Paris. Under her guidance, the abbey thrived as a center of prayer and learning.
