Sts. Crowned Martyrs
The Sts. Crowned Martyrs are a group of four Christian martyrs who were executed in Rome around the year 305 AD for their refusal to worship pagan gods. They are believed to have been stonecutters or sculptors who were ordered to create statues of the Roman gods but refused. As a result, they were tortured and killed for their faith. The Sts. Crowned Martyrs are venerated for their steadfast devotion to Christianity in the face of persecution. They are the patron saints of sculptors, stonecutters, and miners.
