St. Joseph Pignatelli, Jesuit
St. Joseph Pignatelli (1737-1811) was a Spanish Jesuit priest known for his holiness and devotion to the Catholic faith. Born in Aragon, Spain, he joined the Jesuits in 1753 and later became a professor of philosophy and theology. During the suppression of the Jesuit order in 1773, he remained steadfast in his commitment, eventually being exiled to Italy. Throughout his life, Pignatelli was renowned for his charity, humility, and spiritual guidance. He is venerated as a model of perseverance and fidelity to one's vocation. St. Joseph Pignatelli is the patron saint of Jesuits.
