Saint Henriette Delille

Saint Henriette Delille was born in New Orleans in 1813 and devoted her life to helping the poor, sick, elderly, and enslaved people. She founded the Sisters of the Holy Family, the second-oldest African-American religious congregation. Henriette was known for her deep charity and unwavering faith despite facing discrimination and hardship. She died in 1862, and her legacy continues in her order's work.
