Saint Caroline

Saint Caroline (Karolina Kózka) was a Polish virgin and martyr born in 1898. She was deeply devoted to her faith and active in parish life. At 16, she was attacked and killed while defending her purity, and is venerated as a model of chastity. She was beatified by Pope John Paul II in 1987.
