Saint Catherine, visionary of the Miraculous Medal
Saint Catherine Labouré was a French nun and member of the Daughters of Charity. In 1830, she experienced apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary, who revealed the design of the Miraculous Medal to her. Through her humility and devotion, she inspired countless faithful to trust in Mary's intercession. Saint Catherine lived a life of prayer and service in Paris until her death in 1876.
