Saint Andrew
St. Andrew was one of the Twelve Apostles of Jesus Christ. He was a fisherman by trade and was the brother of St. Peter. Andrew was the first of the disciples to be called by Jesus. He is believed to have been crucified on an X-shaped cross in Patras, Greece, where he is said to have preached the Gospel. St. Andrew is the patron saint of Scotland, Russia, and several other countries.
