Saint Vivian, bishop of Saintes

Saint Vivian was the bishop of Saintes in France during the 5th century. He was known for his charitable work and defense of his people during invasions by barbarian forces. Vivian provided support to the poor and refugees suffering during these difficult times. He is venerated as a holy protector and is commemorated on December 2.
