Saint Charles Garnier, martyr of North America

Saint Charles Garnier was a French Jesuit missionary in the 17th century. He dedicated his life to evangelizing the Huron people in present-day Canada. Despite facing great hardship, he continued his ministry with courage and faith. He was killed in 1649 during the Iroquois attacks and is celebrated as one of the North American Martyrs.
