Saint Romaric, abbot of Remiremont
Saint Romaric, abbot of Remiremont, was a nobleman of the Frankish court who converted to Christianity. After meeting Saint Amatus, he renounced his wealth and dedicated himself to monastic life. Together with Amatus, he founded the double monastery of Remiremont in the Vosges mountains. Romaric served as abbot and was known for his holiness and charity.
