Saint Delfinus of Bordeaux
Saint Delfinus of Bordeaux was a bishop in the late 4th century who played a significant role in the Christianization of southwestern Gaul. He was known for his piety, charity, and close friendship with Saint Paulinus of Nola, for whom he performed baptism. Delfinus participated in several important councils and defended orthodox faith against Arianism. He is venerated especially in Bordeaux, France. His memory is celebrated for his dedication to the pastoral care of his flock.
