St. Miltiades, Pope
Saint Miltiades was the Pope of the Catholic Church from 311 to 314 AD. He was born in Rome, Italy, and his feast day is celebrated on January 10th. As Pope, Miltiades oversaw the end of the Diocletianic Persecution, which had targeted Christians throughout the Roman Empire. He is venerated for his leadership during this challenging time and for promoting unity within the Church. Miltiades is not commonly associated with any specific patronage.
