Saint Gregory of Narek was an Armenian monk, poet, and theologian from the 10th century. He is best known for his mystical work, the Book of Lamentations. Gregory spent most of his life in the monastery of Narek, dedicating himself to prayer, writing, and spiritual guidance. He is venerated as a Doctor of the Church for his profound theological insights.
