Saint Casimir
St. Casimir was a Polish prince and patron saint of Lithuania. He was born in 1458 and died in 1484 at the age of 25. Casimir was the third son of Casimir IV, King of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania. He was known for his piety, devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary, and his care for the poor. Despite pressure from his father to marry, Casimir chose to remain celibate and devoted his life to prayer and service. He is venerated as the patron saint of Lithuania, Poland, and young people.
