Saint Lucius

Saint Lucius was a pope of the Catholic Church who served as Bishop of Rome from 253 to 254 AD. He was known for his courage during the persecution of Christians under Emperor Gallus. Despite facing exile, Saint Lucius maintained his faith and leadership. His papacy was brief, and he is venerated as a martyr. His steadfastness made him a model for the persecuted Church.
