Marie-Eugénie de Jésus

Saint Marie-Eugénie de Jésus, born Anne-Eugénie Milleret, was a French nun and the founder of the Religious of the Assumption. She dedicated her life to education, especially for young women, in 19th-century France. Her vision inspired foundations around the world, focusing on intellectual and spiritual formation. She was canonized by Pope Benedict XVI in 2007.
