Saint Constantine, king and martyr of Scotland
Saint Constantine, king and martyr of Scotland, was a ruler who later embraced the Christian faith and abdicated his throne to devote himself to the service of God. According to tradition, he became a monk and was eventually martyred for his faith in the early 7th century. He is especially venerated in Scotland, where he is considered a patron and a model of repentance and conversion.
