Saint Emilie, foundress of the Sisters of the Holy Family of Villefranche
Saint Emilie de Rodat was born in 1787 in Rodez, France. She founded the Sisters of the Holy Family of Villefranche, dedicated to the education of poor girls and care for the sick. Despite opposition and suffering, she led the congregation with great faith and charity. She died in 1852 and was canonized by Pope Pius XII in 1950.
