Paschal Baylon
St. Paschal Baylon (1540-1592) was a Spanish Franciscan lay brother known for his deep devotion to the Eucharist. Born in the village of Torrehermosa, he worked as a shepherd in his youth before joining the Franciscan Order as a lay brother. Paschal was renowned for his piety, humility, and commitment to prayer, especially before the Blessed Sacrament. He is considered the patron saint of Eucharistic associations and is venerated for his role in promoting Eucharistic adoration.
