Saint Emil

Saint Emil was a martyr of Carthage who suffered persecution during the reign of Emperor Decius in the mid-3rd century. He was burned alive after refusing to renounce his Christian faith. Saint Emil is venerated for his courage and steadfastness in the face of severe torture. Alongside Saint Castus, he is honored as a symbol of unwavering fidelity to Christ. His example continues to inspire Christians facing oppression.
