Saint Priscilla

Saint Priscilla

Sts. Aquila and Priscilla were a married couple who lived in the 1st century AD. They were among the earliest Christian converts and became close companions of the Apostle Paul. Aquila and Priscilla hosted Paul in their home in Corinth and assisted him in his missionary work. They later accompanied Paul to Ephesus, where they helped establish a church in their home. Priscilla is also credited with instructing the eloquent preacher Apollos in the Christian faith. Sts. Aquila and Priscilla are honored for their unwavering faith, hospitality, and dedication to spreading the Gospel. They are the patrons of Christian married couples.
