Saint Joel, prophet of the Old Testament

Saint Joel was one of the twelve minor prophets of the Old Testament. He is traditionally considered the author of the Book of Joel, which focuses on repentance, the outpouring of God's spirit, and the coming Day of the Lord. Little is known with certainty about the details of his life, but his message remains central to Christian faith. The Church venerates him for his prophetic witness and his call to conversion.
