Saint Elvira, virgin of Ohren
Saint Elvira of Ohren was a 12th-century nun and Abbess of the convent of Ohren in Trier, Germany, venerated as a saint in the Catholic Church. Dedicated to God from an early age, she led her community with wisdom, patience, and exceptional care, guiding the convent to flourish under her leadership. She was known for her deep love of the Eucharist, spending long hours in adoration and encouraging devotion to the sacraments. Her charity extended beyond the convent walls, as she generously served the poor and offered counsel to the many pilgrims who sought her intercession. She died in Trier, her legacy of humility and service enduring to this day.
