Saint Samson, bishop of Dol

Saint Samson was a 6th-century Welsh-born monk and bishop. He is known for his missionary work in Brittany, France, where he became the first bishop of Dol. Samson is counted among the seven founder saints of Brittany. He played an important role in spreading Christianity in the region.
