Saint Pedro Poveda, priest and martyr

Saint Pedro Poveda was a Spanish Catholic priest and educator. He founded the Teresian Association, focused on collaborating in the field of education and promoting Christian values in society. He worked extensively to empower lay people, particularly women, through education. He was martyred during a time of anti-religious persecution in Spain.
