Saint Celsus
Saint Celsus was a bishop and martyr of the early Church, venerated particularly in Milan, Italy. He lived during the 1st or 2nd century AD and, along with Saint Nazarius, is celebrated for his steadfast faith and evangelizing efforts. His relics were discovered together with those of Nazarius, and Saint Ambrose played a key role in promoting their veneration. Saint Celsus is invoked for courage in the faith and devotion to Christ.
