Saint Emily de Rodat
Saint Emily de Rodat (1787–1852) was a French religious sister and educator. She founded the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Family of Villefranche-de-Rouergue to provide Christian education, especially for poor children. Known for humility, perseverance, and practical charity, she guided her community through social upheaval and limited resources. Her spiritual life centered on the Holy Family and faithful service in ordinary duties. She is honored as a model for teachers and those dedicated to education and works of mercy.
