St. Peter Fourier, Canon regular
St. Peter Fourier (1565-1640) was a French Catholic priest and canon regular. He was born in Mattaincourt, Lorraine, and is known for his work in education and social reform. Fourier founded the Congregation of Notre Dame, a teaching order for young women, and worked to improve the lives of the poor and underprivileged. He is venerated for his compassion and dedication to serving others. Fourier is the patron saint of teachers and educators.
