Saint Arthmael
Saint Arthmael, more commonly known as Saint Armel, was a Welsh-born abbot and missionary in Brittany during the 6th century. He founded several monasteries and is famed for his evangelization of Brittany, where he is especially venerated. Known for his humility and miracles, he is particularly associated with the region of Ille-et-Vilaine in France.
