Saint Jeanne Delanoue, founder of the Sisters of Saint Anne of Providence

Saint Jeanne Delanoue was born in France in 1666. Initially a shopkeeper, she experienced a deep conversion and devoted her life to the poor and abandoned. She founded the Sisters of Saint Anne of Providence in Saumur to serve orphans, the sick, and the destitute. Jeanne's work inspired many, and she was canonized by Pope John Paul II in 1982.
