Saint Edith of Wilton
Saint Edith of Wilton was an English nun and the daughter of King Edgar the Peaceful. Born circa 961, she was dedicated to the religious life from a young age and became a Benedictine nun at Wilton Abbey. Renowned for her piety, humility, and acts of charity, Edith refused the crown on several occasions. She died in 984 at a young age, and miracles were reported at her tomb. She is venerated for her holiness and her devotion to God.
